#1 Sun Tanning Salon is proud to be a part of the tanning industry for 24 years.  The Iowa City location offers 41 beds: including 11 different levels of beds to serve every skin type. UV Free Spray on Tanning, the Ultra Bronz High Pressure Bed, a Face Tanner, Leg Tanner and unique spa services, including the Infra-Red Sauna, Hydro-Massage Bed and the Oxygen Bar are all available.

 

#1 Sun is a member of Smart Tan and ITA. All tanning consultants have been State and Smart Tan certified. The salon also has received the honor of being named one of the top 250 salons in the country by Looking Fit magazine 6 years in a row and voted best tanning salon in Eastern Iowa by KCRG's A-list.

 

Our mission is to educate and assist you in making choices that promote smart tanning resulting in healthy, golden skin to fit your own personal needs. We pride ourselves in offering top quality, high performance beds and products. We carry a full line of skin care products specifically designed for tanning to further promote your skin's health and appearance before, during and after tanning.
